Labor Day is on the first Monday of September every year. Labor Day is a tribute to workers all over America, the tribute is actually just a day of no work. The first Labor Day was actually settled on the first Tuesday of September in 1882. Labor Day's founder was thought to be Peter J. McGuire or Matthew Maguire. Originally Peter J. McGuire was the founder but research shows that Matthew Maguire could have possibly founded it. Labor Day is now preformed nationwide showing appreciation to workers.
